    The principle of error correction coding technique is described in this paper. The application and development of error correction coding technique in Russia deep space TT&C and communication system are introduced. The performances of various error correction coding techniques used in Russia deep space exploration are given. The purpose of this paper is to offer some useful reference about error correction coding techniques for China TT&C and communication system.
