It is hard to detect the time-frequency properties of RF signals because of their characteristics of high frequency and transience. A novel method focusing on the RF signals detection based on the S-tranform is presented in the paper. MATLAB results show that the S-transform is unique in that it provides frequency-dependent resolution, which correctly identifies the time-frequency performance of the RF signals.
