Along with T and B lymphocytes,Natural killer (NK) cells belong to the third subgroup of lymphocytes and play an essential role in cell-mediated immune defense against virus infection and tumors.Currently Adoptive NK cell Transfer has become a research hot spot on tumor biological therapy.This review discusses the source of NK cells,mechanisms of the action and recent development of NK cell adoptive immunotherapy for malignant tumor therapy.
