Objective To explore whether there are effects of oral antibiotics before skin anaphylaxis test to antibiotics on the results of skin test, and the related factors influencing the positive skin test in antibiotics, so as to provide evidences for health education for nurses' standard use of antibiotics. Methods 130 patients who had no allergic history of medications underwent antibiotic skin test. The correlation between results of skin test and whether taking antibiotics orally before skin test was observed. Results There was no statistical meaning between the positive rates of skin tests for cephalesporin antibiotics and penicillins antibiotics; the positive rate of patients who took antibiotics orally before the skin test was higher than that of patients who took no antibiotics; the positive rate of skin test had no correlation with the age and sex of patients as well as the drugs for skin test, but there was correlation with taking antibiotics before skin test. Conclusions When conducting the skin anaphylaxis test to antibiotics, nurses should strictly observe the patients who have no allergic history of medications but take antibiotics orally before skin test.
