岳阳自古不仅为兵家必争，而且是税关重地。从1899年岳州正式开埠到1939年岳州关全部关闭，近40年时间，一直由洋人统治。闭关了50年后，1988年，岳阳海关又重新建立。新的岳阳海关是岳阳国民经济发展到一定程度，进出口贸易达到一定水平后重建的。本文站在历史的角度，从岳阳海关的衰败到兴盛，反映出中国自改革开放以来主权的不断强大和经济的迅猛发展。
악양자고불부위병가필쟁，이차시세관중지。종1899년악주정식개부도1939년악주관전부관폐，근40년시간，일직유양인통치。폐관료50년후，1988년，악양해관우중신건립。신적악양해관시악양국민경제발전도일정정도，진출구무역체도일정수평후중건적。본문참재역사적각도，종악양해관적쇠패도흥성，반영출중국자개혁개방이래주권적불단강대화경제적신맹발전。
Yueyang has not been a place contested by all strategists, but also a high tax place since ancient times. From 1899 to 1939, Yueyang Customs was controlled by foreigners. After 50 years, Yueyang Customs has been re-established in 1988. The New Customs is the creature of the age by the development of economic and international trade. Based on history, this paper, through the decline and prosperous of Yueyang Customs, reveals that China as a sovereign state has been getting more and more powerful and the economic of China is also developing rapidly since the reform and opening-up policy.
