在Lakoff等人提出的概念隐喻理论基础上,GFauconnier及同仁在认知语义学框架下提出了概念整合理论。该理论可用于解释自然语言的动态意义建构,例如隐喻、创新表达、笑话、漫画等。从认知角度运用概念整合理论分析中国意象诗歌的意义建构,以期阐释意象诗歌中隐喻理解的过程,丰富诗歌的理解和欣赏,并以此证明概念整合理论是目前从认知层面阐释隐喻最具说服力的理论。

On the basis of Lakoff et al.'s conceptual metaphor theory (CMT), Fauconnier and his colleagues put forward conceptual integration theory ( CIT)/blending theory (BT) in the frame of cognitive-semantics. CIT is a theory which can be employed to illustrate the dynamic meaning construction of natural language, such as meta- phor, novel expression, jokes, cartoons, etc. The meaning construction of Chinese imagery poetry was analyzed from the cognitive perspective in the hope of revealing the process of metaphor comprehension on the basis of this theory and enriching our comprehension and appreciation of these poems. It turns out that CIT has been consid- ered the most convincing theory on metaphor interpretation up to now.
