This paper studies and analyzes the landslide characteristics and forming mechanism owing to foundation, pit excavation and the parameter and stability of sliding soil anti-shearing strength as well, and the treatment methods are suggested in the light of the engineering requirements, such as the stabilizing pile ＋ drainage ditch method. It will provide references for the similar engineering.
