结合当地特色,立足时代和社会对化工人才的需求分析,针对传统人才培养模式存在的问题,提出并实施＂英语＋化学工程与工艺＂双专业复合型人才培养模式改革,对该模式的教育理念、基本思路、培养目标、课程设置、教学方法改革、管理机制、保障机制等进行了较为深入系统的探讨与实践,取得了一定的成效。

The dual-degree（＂English ＋ Chemical Engineering and Technology＂） interdisciplinary talent cultivation model is proposed and then put into implementation,taking the local features,the need analysis of the talents,the problems in the traditional model into consideration.It has been systematically explored and researched from the educational concepts,the basic ideas,the training aim,the curriculum system,the reform of the teaching methods,the management mechanism to the security mechanism,and it has proved to be a great success.
