2010年我国全面启动国家执业兽医资格考试,并在未来逐步要求从事动物疫病诊断、治疗和动物保健等经营活动的兽医人员,必须取得执业兽医资格。这对我国高职兽医教育带来了较大冲击和影响。高职兽医教育应积极应对,将执业兽医考试纳入工作范畴,做好顶层设计,改革课程设计和考核办法,加强实践教学,以师资队伍建设带动执业兽医师考试工作,全面提升办学水平和人才培养质量,提高竞争力。

The National Qualification Examination for Veterinary Practitioners was extensively performed in 2010,with the step-by-step implementation of the authorization requirement that the veterinarians who work in animal disease diagnosis,treatment,prevention and animal health must obtain veterinary practicing qualifications through the examination for their practice.This stipulation has produced a strong impact on the higher vocational veterinary medicine education in China.The authors believe that the related institutions should react to the situation by involving the NQEVP into their program and syllabus,curriculum design and test management,and enhance the practice teaching and faculty training for higher competiveness and better talent education.
