The latest changes of the policy of the direct power purchase of the large customers in our country were interpreted and the different progress situations of the pilots of the direct power purchase of the large customers in the two large regions of the South China Power Grid and the State Grid were presented.The motives and nature that national related ministries carrying out the pilots of the direct power purchase are analyzed together with the influences on the different interest groups like grid company,generation enterprises,large purchases and local economy.The practical suggestions of carrying out direct power purchase currently were proposed from the angles of clear understanding,principles of carrying out direct power purchase and macroscopic measures,which had important significances on improving the practice of the direct power purchase of the large purchase in our country.
