A new compound, ethyl 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-p-tolylthiazole-5-formate, was synthesized by a five-step reaction from 4-methoxybenzoic acid. The structure was characterized by ~1HNMR, MS and X-ray single-crystal diffraction.
