Controlled-release pellets of diltiazem hydrochloride were prepared by using Eudragit RS as coating material. The dissolution test in vitro showed that the drug release profile followed zero-order kinetic equation, and release rate constant was 0.0635 h-1. Good stability was indicated by accelerated test for 3 months.
