Complex guidance is often used in medium and long range surface to air missile, with parabolic trajectory used to increase range. Thus, in the stages of midcourse and terminal guidance transition or terminal guidanc e active radar seeker often needs to intercept and track target in severe land/s ea clutter background. A novel method of land/sea clutter power spectrum calcula tion for active radar seeker is introduced in this paper. According to estimat ion results of clutter power spectrum, it can be used in designing seeker's subc lutter visibility performance, or setting frequency tracking prohibited regions for the radar seeker.
