ARL-3520 ICP-spectrometer is successfully repaired. The ICP generator, which has been unable to work for years, is subjected to technical amelioration and is proved to give a steady plasma with good DL and RSD. The original dedicated computer is replaced with a modern PC computer and a new special purpose software is prepared on the Windows platform. A photoelectric measurement system and a controlling circuit are devised. A sketch description is made on the newly developed software, the main points of the hardware. Tables on the performance of the whole equipment are also given.
