以二倍体高梁不育系及其保持系和由它们诱变成的同源四倍体选系为材料,研究了同源四倍体不育系和保持系的生物学特征及生理特性,结果发现,四倍体的株高一般为二倍体的80.6%~90.1%,单株总叶片数减少1~2片;保持系加倍后,顶部三叶面积增加4.6%~9.4%;不育系的花药由二倍体时的白色变为四倍体的淡黄色,由完全空瘪变为有花粉粒败育后的残余物,四622A-1的花药中有45.1%的花粉粒有活力;叶绿素a、b含量的变化趋势与二倍体相同,但在多数情况下前者高于后者,而a/b比值则是四倍体低于二倍体;四倍体在生长发育的早期净光合速率高于二倍体。

A comparative study on the biological and physiological features between autotetraploid and diploid sorghum male-sterile(A)and maintenance(B)lines was fulfilled.The results showed that plant height of tetraploid A lines and B lines was only 80.6%~90.1% of that of diploid ones and the leaf namber per plant decreased by one to tow.But the total leaf area of top three leaves of tetraploid B lines increased by 4.6%~9.4%.The anther color of tetraploidA lines became yellowy from white of diploid.In the anthers of T622A-9,there were only someremains while in that of T622A-1,more than 45.1% of pollen grains were active.The change of contents of chlorophyll a,b and a+b in tetraploid lines was the same as in diploid ones.In mostcases,the contents of chlorophyll a,b in tetraploid were higher than that in diploid whereas the specific values of a/b were lower.At the early development stage,the higher photosyntheticrates in tetraploid lines were observed than in diploid lines.
