The iron-based shape memory alloy pipe joint was applied in the connection, sealing, plugging of oilfield pipe in order to solve the damaged problem of the inner corrosion-resistant coating and the corrosion problem of welding-heat in-fluence area. The basic principle and connection influence factors of iron-based shape memory alloy pipe joint were de-scribed. The hydraulic and tensile tests were conducted. The result shows that the seal, pressurization and tensile perform-ances can meet engineering requirements. The flied connection test shows that the iron-based shape memory alloy pipe joint can be used in oilfield corrosion resistant pipe connection and it can solve the inner spraying pipe joint coating problem using the epoxy power.
