近来许多研究证实未折叠蛋白反应(UPR)与2型糖尿病的发生密切相关,肌醇需求激酶1(IRE1)是一种定位于内质网膜的跨膜蛋白,参于UPR信号通路中信息的传递.IRE1信号通路是UPR主要的信号通路之一,IRE1活化后可通过激活IRE1-c-Jur氨基末端激酶(JNK)等信号通路,引起胰岛素抵抗,并最终导致胰岛β细胞凋亡,可见其在2型糖尿病发生中起重要作用.通过探讨IRE1信号通路在2型糖尿病发生、发展中的作用,将为治疗2型糖尿病提供新的途径.

Recently, many studies have demonstrated that the unfolded protein response (UPR) was closely related to the mechanism of type 2 diabetes. Inositol requiring enzyme 1 ( IRE1 ) is an endoplasmic reticulum-located transmembrane protein that participates in information transfer in the UPR signaling pathways.IRE1 signaling pathway is one of the important signalling pathways in the UPR. Activation of IRE1 signaling pathways may lead to the development of insulin resistance and islet β-cells apoptosis by activating IREl-c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase(JNK) signaling pathway and so on. Discussing the role of IRE1 in type 2 diabetes can provide a new approach of diabetes therapy.
