This paper presented the aerothermodynamics of grid fin for hypersonic flight which mach numbers greater than 5.0. Aerodynamics and aerodynamic heating of grid fin are performed to predict by engineering methods, and the calculation results verify initial requests for rationally choosing geometric parameters of grid fin. This explore is made for engineering development soon.
