木兰科植物木莲(Manglietia fordiana)、含笑(Michelia figo)和北美鹅掌楸(Liriodendrontulipifera)是中国的传统药用植物.本文通过对抑菌圈大小和最小抑菌浓度的测定,研究了这3种植物茎、叶的乙醇粗提物的抑菌活性.结果表明,大部分提取物对革兰氏阳性菌有较好的抑制效果,个别提取物(如木莲茎和含笑茎)能抑制革兰氏阴性菌的生长,所有提取物均无抑制病原真菌的作用.
木蘭科植物木蓮(Manglietia fordiana)、含笑(Michelia figo)和北美鵝掌楸(Liriodendrontulipifera)是中國的傳統藥用植物.本文通過對抑菌圈大小和最小抑菌濃度的測定,研究瞭這3種植物莖、葉的乙醇粗提物的抑菌活性.結果錶明,大部分提取物對革蘭氏暘性菌有較好的抑製效果,箇彆提取物(如木蓮莖和含笑莖)能抑製革蘭氏陰性菌的生長,所有提取物均無抑製病原真菌的作用.

Manglietia fordiana, Michelia figo and Liriodendron tulipifera (Magnoliaceae) are traditional medicines in China. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of crude ethanolic extracts from stems and leaves of the three species were investigated using modified agar diffusion method and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) method. The results showed that all stem extracts of the three species were more active than leaf extracts. Most of the leaf extracts except Manglietia fordiana were proved to be active against Gram positive pathogenic bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Nocardia asteroides and Bacillus subtilis. Gram positive pathogenic bacterium Streptococcus faecalis was only inhibited by the extract of Liriodendron tulipifera stem. Only a few extracts (stems of Manglietia fordiana and Michelia figo) were active against Gram negative bacteria. All the extracts in this study could not inhibit Enterobacter cloacae. Stem extract of Manglietia fordiana was active to B. dysenteriae, Escherichia coli and B. pyocyaneus; Stem and leaf extracts of Michelia figo possessed relatively high antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli.
