用反相高效液相色谱法进行了1,2,4-丁三醇的分离条件选择实验,通过已知物对照保留值定性,进行了杂质峰的鉴定。由于各组分折光指数相近,用峰面积归一化法定量是可行的。研究表明:对于极性强,在较高温度下易分解的1,2,4-丁三醇的分析,用高效液相色谱法更为适宜。

The selective experiment of chromatographic separation condition of 1,2,4-butanetriol was done by Rp-HPLC. The chromatographic column was Micropak MCH-5(C18,5μm). The mobile phase was water. The detector was RID. The impurity peak identify was done by the comparision between retention time of an unknown sample and that of a known sample. Since the refractive index of compounds were similar, the area normalization method was practical.The research showed that for the 1,2,4-butanetriol which has strong polarity and is liable to decompose, HPLC was more adaptable than GC.
