为解决35 kV架空输电线路的雷击问题,借鉴并联间隙防雷保护原理的"疏导型"思想,研制了喷射气体灭弧防雷间隙装置.该装置能够在输电线路遭受雷击或绝缘子串工频闪络时,有效保护绝缘子串免受工频电弧的灼烧,同时在工频电弧击穿间隙后,能够迅速切断工频续流.借助高速摄像机及示波器观测电弧及间隙电压、电流的变化过程,实验结果表明在高速气体的冲击下,间隙电弧能够快速熄灭.计算显示,安装喷射气体灭弧防雷间隙装置以后,能够大幅度降低输电线路的雷击跳闸率.为进一步把该装置运用到110、220 kV高压输电线路打下了基础.

A parallel gap lightning protection device with arc extinguished by high-speed airflow was developed from the principle of parallel gap lightning protection to solve the faults caused by lightning stroke in 35 kV overhead transmission lines.And it was feasible to adopt scatter type gap lightning protection scheme.The scheme can provide better lightning protection for overhead transmission lines. Such device was installed 0n overhead transmission lines to protect insulator strings against burnt by power frequency electric arc when the lines were suffered by light ning strokes or power frequency flashover of insulator.When the power frequency electric arc is established by lightning strokes,it can be quickly cut off.With high-speed camera and oscilloscope.the process and waveforms of voltage and current changes in arc extinguished test was observed.Arc interrupter test shows that.in the open-air environment,gap arc dan be effectively extinguished by high-speed airflow.Results of calculation reveal that the flashover rate of a transmission line will be greatly reduced after installation of parallel gap lightning protection device with arc extinguished by high-speed airflow.The research will lay the foundation for the further use of the device to 110 kV,220 kV high voltage transmission line.
