In this paper, engineering geological properties of soft soil in some power plant were gained by analyzing the statistics datum of the indexes of physics and mechanics of soft soil. The conclusion is made that the engineering geological properties of soft soil in the power plant is very poor. The preloading and deep mixing methods are put forward as the main foundation treatment methods.
