h is studied that the difference of cold-formed purlin structural calculation methods between the national code GB 500 t8--2002 Technical Code of Cold-Formed Thin-Wall Steel Structures and European code EC 3-1-3.Rotational spring stiffness of purlins given by roof sheets and anti-sag bars make an important effects on purlin buckling resistance. Torsional buckling and warping stress of purlin are calculated. Problem of the rotational spring stiffness between purlins and roof sheets with sliding seat and anti-sag bar acting on purlins is considered. This paper may be as a reference for civil engineerings.
