在某种特定条件和色散关系下,发现TE和TM偏振波在各向异性左手材料中传播时会形成不同的波矢面和折射关系,但波矢面的形状是相同的;而在各向同性左手材料中传播的TE和TM偏振波会形成相同的波矢面和折射关系.

Based on a certain boundary conditions and dispersion relations, it was found that TE and TM polarized wave propagation in anisotropic LHMs will exhibit the same shape wave-vector surface but different wave-vector surface and refraction, but propagation in isotropic LHMs will exhibit the same wave-vector surface and propagation properties. The difference of two types of negative refraction was investigated.
