为解决大尺寸合金钢件油淬后力学性能达不到要求、水淬易开裂的问题,介绍了一种以水和空气作为淬火介质的预冷循环控时淬火冷却方法.针对φ210 mm的42CrMo4钢轴类件.利用数值模拟方法设计淬火冷却工艺,并进行了实际件的淬火冷却试验.通过计算结果和实测数据的对比分析表明,采用预冷循环控时淬火冷却方法可以在避免淬火开裂的同时在一定范围内调整其力学性能.

For solving the problems that the mechanical properties of alloy steels are lower than requirement after quenched in oil and tempered and quenching cracks easily appeared after quenched in water, a method called alternately timed quenching (ATQ) which takes water and air in turn as the quenching media was proposed. During the quenching of 42CrMo4 steel shaft with a diameter 210 mm, ATQ processes were designed with the aid of computer simulation and then corresponding physical experiments were carried out consequently. The results show that the proposed technology can significantly reduce the surface cracking tendency and improve the mechanical properties.
