善事父母谓之＂孝＂,兄友弟恭谓之＂悌＂。孔子的＂孝悌＂思想,作为儒家伦理道德思想的重要组成部分和基本社会规范,具有深刻的内涵。同时,孔子在个人追求、家庭伦理和社会发展等方面均赋予了＂孝悌＂思想以深刻的价值诉求。＂孝悌＂思想的形成,不仅受孔子生活时代的历史背景的影响,而且深深扎根于浓厚的中国传统哲学和文化的沃土中。虽然＂孝悌＂思想有些许糟粕之处,但它的精华之点在当今社会仍具有重要的现实启导意义。

Treating parents well is called ＂filial piety＂,and showing love and respect as good brothers is called ＂fraternal duty＂.Confucius＇ thought of ＂filial piety and fraternal duty＂ has profound implications,also is an important part and the basic social norms of moral.Meanwhile,Confucius made deep emotional appeals on the thought of ＂filial piety and fraternal duty＂ in the aspects of personal pursuit and family ethics,as well as social development.The formation of this theory was not only affected by the historical background of the times of Confucius,but entrenched itself in the Chinese traditional philosophy and culture.Although some slight dregs lurk in the thought of ＂filial piety and fraternal duty＂,it still has some practical supporting significance.
