车用自组织网络-VANET(vellick Ad-hoc Network)是一种应用于智能交通系统的新型无线移动自组织网络,其网络体系及各层协议设计与信道特性紧密相关,信道实时测量与性能预估逐渐成为VANET通信协议设计基础.本文主要思想是通过实测数据包的差错序列来评估VANET信道质量.首先通过实测数据分析,发现差错序列中相邻无误串和错误串具有统计依赖关系;然后提取数据包的差错序列统计特性参数,依此建立基于Markov链的PLE(Packet-Level Error)模型;最后通过不同模型仿真结果与实际统计结果的比较与验证,PLE模型比传统的Gilbert-Elliott模型更适合描述VANET信道特征.

Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET), a subclass of mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs), is a promising approach for future intelligent transportation system (ITS).Understanding and modeling packet error in the VANET is especially relevant to the design and analysis of higher layer wireless communication protocols. In this paper, it is shown that the packet error sequences based on measurements in live VANET are capable of representing the nature of the channel. A Packet-Level Error (PLE) model based on Markov chains is presented in this paper. The parameters of the model are obtained from the statistical behavior of the packet error sequences.Finally,it is shown that both the accuracy and the efficiency of the suggested PLE model outperform those of a widely used Gilbert-Elliott model.
