The preparation process and technology development trends and prospects of activated carbon fiber (ACF)were summed up, pointed out the characteristics of ACF as adsorbent, such as large adsorption capacity, fast ad-sorption/desorption rate. Based on these characteristics to further introduce its application fields at present. Volatile organ-ic compounds (VOCs) have strong perniciousness, so we analyze its application in VOCs recycling in detail and the future research directions of this application.
