Lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors seriously threatening human health and life. The incidence and mortality of lung cancer top those of cancers in the world. In recent years,studies have shown that the occurrence and development of lung cancer are closely related with human papillomavirus. This paper reviews the structure and type, biological characteristics, tumorigenic mechanisms and tumor immunity of human papillomavirus.
