从黄河下游的水文特性入手,通过对黄河下游水文资料的分析,论述了黄河水文测报的设施设备、科学技术、科技手段等发展的实际情况及其对黄河治理、开发、水文测报和社会经济、稳定所起到的作用.进而说明了黄河水文测验的设施设备、仪器与技术在不断向更经济、更简洁、更精确、更实用、更迅速的方向改革与发展,"维持黄河健康生命"和黄河的可持续发展与水文科技、水文科学发展息息相关.

This paper researched the hydrologic characteristics by analyzing the hydrologic data in down stream of the Yellow River, elaborated the real developing situation of the equipments, scientific technology and technical methods on hydrological measuring and prediction and its impact on the improvement, development, hydrological forecast, and stability of socio-economics in Yellow River. It illustrated further the equipment, instruments and technology of the hydrological measuring facilities to continue developing from to be more economical, more concise, more accurate, more practical and more quickly. "Maintain the healthy of the Yellow River" and its sustainable development are closely related to the development of hydrological science.
