Detection process and results as well as restoration methods of the bulge on the inner wall of a carbonization tower were reported.First,the outer wall and the inner wall of the carbonization tower were examined.Then the thickness of each cylinder joint and bulge were measured by thickness gauge and slice measurement was performed on a selected bulge.Finally,the bulges were repaired.The restored carbonization tower was found to run well.Based on the experiments,the requirements and technical measures of the restoration of the carbonation tower were summarized,and some suggestions on the safe operation of the carbonation tower were presented.
