This paper studies the characteristics of hot metal and blast furnace slag of Chuanwei steel works and compares the deferent components of slag after blast furnace and right before KR desulfurization process.The changing characteristics and the changing reasons of the slag components from the blast furnace to KR process of Chuanwei steel works are analyzed.
