In this paper, the post project evaluation practice of 250000 t/a methanol project of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group is taken as an example. Based on the focus of post project evaluation in coal chemical industry, this paper discusses the research and design of post project evaluation in coal chemical industry from the a~pects of evaluation process, method, evaluation index and standard, evaluation scope and main content, and successful degree of project construction.
