敦煌文献，特别是敦煌变文和敦煌社会经济文献中保存了大量的唐五代西北方言口头词语。这些词语许多至今还在河西走廊汉语方言的口语中被使用。选取了“槁”、“便”、“赢递”、“撩捋”、“酩臊”等几个敦煌文献中的口语词，将它们与现代河西走廊方言相互参证进行了考释。
돈황문헌，특별시돈황변문화돈황사회경제문헌중보존료대량적당오대서북방언구두사어。저사사어허다지금환재하서주랑한어방언적구어중피사용。선취료“고”、“편”、“영체”、“료랄”、“명조”등궤개돈황문헌중적구어사，장타문여현대하서주랑방언상호삼증진행료고석。
A mass of northwest dialect colloquial glossary in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms is conserved in the Dunhuang Literature ,especially in the Dunhuang Bianwen and Dunhuang social economy literature. A lot of words in the glossary are used in the Hexi Corridor dialect to date.Some dialect words of Dunhuang Literature are selected and made textual criticisms and explanations with the present-day Hexi Corridor.
