In this paper,through contrastive analysis of the relationship between different site preparation intensities,planting densities,varieties and ways of tending and forest growth increments,the conclusion was obtained that good poplar afforestation results could only be achieved by improving soil,choosing suitable varieties and adopting suitable technical measures for afforestation.
