Using mathematical theory of Parameter Switchable Mechanica1System, an Intelligent CAD System for Gearbox Parameter Structure is developed, based on mathematical expression of parameter structure and the theory of realization of the system. It is a successful example of application of this mathematical theory in gearbox CAD. The situation is broken through that gearbox driving scheme is designed mainly by experience and graphical method, and a new design theory and method is introduced in this paper. Moreover, further research should be done on the application of this mathematical theory in other fields.
