经3年研究建立了一套用离体植物器官检测无土栽培系统中果菜类根际疫霉菌的简易方法，应用该方法检测120份营养液。其结果与实际符合率达到96.7%以上。经研究确定了该方法较合适的供测离体植物器官、取样量及较适的检测温度、光照等环境条件，并应用疫霉菌的静止子测定了该方法的灵敏度，最低可检测浓度为1×103个/ml；与其它方法相比，离体植物器官检测技术具有直观、简便、实用等优点，适合于广大基层技术人员和农民使用。
