学校后勤是教育带动起来的“附属业”。后勤属于社会行为，应该依靠社会来办后勤，以集中学校教育的精力，减轻教育产业的负担。因此，高等教育应将后勤经一定“反应”后“还原”给社会。随着“学校市场现象”的出现，高校更应主动地剥离后勤，将其推入市场，加速实现后勤的市场化。进入市场后的高校后勤有很大的发展潜力，它可以依托高校，形成稳定的消费市场，并可能由此而成为“朝阳产业”，争取到更多的社会力量的支持。
