Based on the actual packing height, mass transfer model of the CO2-removal process with diethanolamine (DEA)-promoted carbonate solvents in high-efficiency structured packing column is developed. The modeling results of the gas CO2 concentration, effects of carbonate conversions and CO2 partial pressure in both gas and liquid phase along the structured packing height are well accordant with those of industrial application.
