A high - efficiency EWP wastewater purifier was used in the treatment of the heavy metal - containing wastewater from a battery factory. Results of the test showed that after the treatment, the figures of Hg2 + , Mn2 + and Zn2 +in the wastewater were all below the discharge stamdard of Guangzhou City, the outlet water was clear, the cost of the treatment agent was only 0.70 yuan/t which was 60% lower than the cost of only using the method of coagulatory
settlement.
