Basic operation principles of crystal flexibility accelerometer, inclinometer and leveler have been simply introduced. Classical methods of improving accuracy of tilt sensor have been analyzed and limitation of each method has been pointed out. Auto-zero technology based on output characteristics of tilt senor at 0° and 180° two positions has been proposed. zero error can been effectively decreased based on this technology. The accuracy of tilt sensor can reach 20″ throughout the whole operation temperature range.
