We propose a scheme for generating maximally entangled multiatom GHZ states in a thermal cavity for testing quantum nonlocality. In the scheme, three atoms are simultaneously sent through a thermal cavity. They are initially in the same state. The scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field, providing new prospects for testing fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics.
