An aaificial boundary numerical method for the exterior problems of the hyperbolic equation is considered. Three kinds of equivalent exact nonreflecting boundary eunditions are derived on a circular artificial boundary. Numerical examples are presented and effectiveness of these artificial boundary conditions is demonstrated.
