中晚熟玉米新品种强盛101号是由山西省农科院食用菌研究所玉米育种部以自交系G694为母本、自交系S89为父本杂交育成,2006年通过了山西省农作物品种审定委员会审定.它具有产量高、抗病性强、籽粒商品性好、适应性广的特点.2007-2008年推广面积达8万hm~2,累汁推广面积达15.2万hm~2.

Using inbred line G694 as female parent and inbred line S89 as male parent, the middle-late new maize species Qiangsheng 101 was bred by Edible Fungi Research Institute, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and released by Crop Variety Authorization Committee in 2006. The cultivar has the feature of high yield, disease resistance, stress tolerance, high marketing quality grain and wide adaptability. The extension area was 8 × 10~4hm~2 in 2007-2008, and the accumulated extension area was more than1.52 × 10~5hm~2.
