According to actual condition,based on many years＇ design experience,in light of several critical issues in the structural design of light-weight steel portal frame including load value,setting of bracing and rigid-tied arches,setting of knee-bracing,wind-resistant column,foundation and column foot,and antisepsis and fire prevention and so on,the essay proposes suggestions,with a view to provide certain reference for similar engineering design.
