2007年1月至2009年8月共采集65尾巨魾，对其食性及摄食器官的形态结构进行了观察，其肠内含物初步分析结果表明。巨魾食物组成主要为小鱼、虾、泥鳅、水生昆虫等。

2007년1월지2009년8월공채집65미거비，대기식성급섭식기관적형태결구진행료관찰，기장내함물초보분석결과표명。거비식물조성주요위소어、하、니추、수생곤충등。
The observation on feeding habits as well as morphological structure of the feeding organ were conducted with 65 wild Bagarius yarrelli （Sykes） ,which were collected during the period from Jan 2007 to Aug 2009.The results from its intestinal tract content indicated that Bagarius yarrelli （Sykes） mainly feeded on small fishes, shrimps,loaches, aquatic insects etc.
