During the period from 2005 to2007, on the basis of the four techniques of shaping and pruning apple trees, flower and fruit management, soil fertility and water management and comprehensive control of insect pests and diseases, the low yielding and low beneficial old apple orchards were reformed to increase the yields and incomes significantly in successive years.
