Supported solid bases were prepared by loading alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts on activated carbon,and were used as catalysts for synthesis of trifluoroiodomethane from C_2F_5H,O_2 and iodine.The results showed that K salt was the optimum catalyst for this reaction.
