基于DNA序列的混沌游戏表示, 得到了一种新的能够避免信息损失的DNA序列的3维图形表示. 同时, 利用特征曲线的几何中心和波动幅度构造4维向量来刻画DNA序列. 基于两种新的相似度量, 对11种物种的β球蛋白基因序列进行相似性分析, 所得结果与生物学中的进化关系基本一致.而且通过比较分析,提出的方法对较长生物序列的相似分析更有效.

A 3D graphical representation of DNA sequence has been derived from chaos game representation of DNA sequence. The 3D graphical representation also avoids loss of information. The geometrical centers and fluctuation of characteristic curve have been grouped into a four-component vector to represent the DNA sequence. Two new efficient similarity/dissimilarity measure, Similarity Measure F and new Correlation Measure, are outlined. The examination of similarities based on less and simply-computed components among the full coding sequences of β-globin gene of 11 different species illustrates the utility, convenience and efficiency of the approach. Moreover, the examination of similarities among the full coding sequences of β-globin gene of different species shows our graphical representation method is more effective to the comparative study of long DNA sequences.
