It is very important for students of computer major to improve the abilities of design of computer application systems after understanding computer systems deeply. One important approach of understanding computer systems deeply is that a system-oriented practice training curriculum for students of computer major should be developed. In this paper, we introduce our experiences on studying a system-oriented practice training curriculum for students of computer maior to provide some suggestions for the related teaching researchers.
